Programs and the Overview operating model
How the Overview surface reflects operational health, readiness and programs.
Overview
Overview is the operating summary for the selected workspace: canonical deployment state, anything that genuinely needs attention, current operational metrics, programs and their lifecycle state, and recent real activity.
Metrics that have not been proven for this workspace are shown as not yet available rather than as zero, so an empty workspace is never presented as a measured result.
On a live laboratory, Overview metrics, attention items, activity and connection health are scoped to Production evidence. A Sandbox-only program may still be listed and badged as such, but it never contributes to Production aggregates; its row action is permanent management, not onboarding.
Programs
- A program defines what a group of orderers may order and under which conditions.
- A program carries its own lifecycle state; a workspace being live does not make every program live.
- Partner API clients receive access per program, never blanket access to the workspace.
