A mapping links a Solia orderable to the code your laboratory system expects. Unmapped orderables are reported as catalog health because they cannot be fulfilled reliably.

• The laboratory owns mapping accuracy; Solia enforces that an unmapped orderable cannot be transmitted.
• A missing mapping surfaces as a canonical catalog-mapping exception, not as a silent failure at order time.
