What Solia Direct is, who it is for, and how the documentation is organized.
What Solia Direct is
Solia Direct is the control, commercialization and connectivity layer a laboratory operates on top of its own laboratory system: catalog and pricing, collection and serviceability, orders, released results, integrations, and the versioned Partner API that partner companies order through.
One laboratory connection supports many diagnostic programs. The same configured order and result interfaces serve partner-ordered programs and, optionally, a consumer-facing program — the laboratory does not build a separate integration per channel.
The two ways in are the Control Plane (the authenticated laboratory application) and the Partner API. A consumer-facing Experience is an optional secondary surface, not the product.
The platform is multi-tenant and strictly tenant-isolated. Every screen, query and API call is scoped to one laboratory workspace, and no surface blends data across workspaces.
Who these docs are for
- Laboratory operators and founders who run programs, catalog, orders and results day to day.
- Laboratory IT and LIS/LIMS teams connecting order and result interfaces.
- Partner engineering teams integrating the Partner API.
- Compliance and security reviewers assessing isolation, access and auditability.
Guides explain how the platform works and how to operate it. API Reference documents the exact request and response contracts the server enforces.
