Solia On Demand
How laboratories publish discoverable testing and route consumers without creating a second commerce or clinical system.

Role and ownership
Solia On Demand is a consumer discovery and laboratory distribution directory over canonical published inventory. The participating laboratory controls participation and remains the destination, seller, merchant, performing laboratory and result authority.
Important
Solia On Demand has no central cart or checkout, does not set the final charged price, and does not add commission, markup, sponsored ranking or a network-wide membership.
Independent publication
- Channel enablement alone publishes nothing.
- Each offering follows Draft → Ready → Published → Paused, and publication is an explicit laboratory action after readiness passes.
- Current public inventory includes only channel-enabled, Published offerings that remain ready.
- Pausing Solia On Demand does not pause Standard DTC or Partner API access; onboarding and Partner API readiness do not publish either consumer channel.
Current live routing
The current live directory route uses the laboratory's published consumer domain plus the offering slug. The consumer continues to that laboratory's Solia-powered DTC storefront, and Solia On Demand does not create an order at handoff.
Canonical Core inventory wins over showcase content. Sample or showcase offerings remain nontransactional, and the browser cannot choose or override the final destination.
Account and released results
Where patient access is activated and linked, a signed-in Solia On Demand account can read authorized canonical orders and released results across participating laboratories. Every record retains its source laboratory and authorization boundary.
- Only released results are shown.
- Health History is chronological and source-preserving; it does not merge clinical identity, normalize reference ranges or units, or interpret results across laboratories.
- Official report download is not available in the current Solia On Demand account.
- This account capability is distinct from the Standard DTC Patient Portal, whose real-laboratory patient session is not live.
Current limitations and prepared contracts
- External laboratory checkout destinations are prepared in code but are not deployed in the current live Core contract.
- Closed-loop referral attribution is prepared but is not live end to end.
- Register Test is currently a routing utility with no activation input or local kit state; follow the issuing laboratory's instructions. Canonical activation is prepared but not live.
- Distribution analytics can report unavailable until their required live contract is deployed; unavailable is not treated as zero.
- Programs and membership information is laboratory-owned and remains informational until a canonical consumer relationship exists.
